Kogi State Police Command Promises To Partner With State Chapter of Institute of Safety Professional of Nigeria

Kogi State Commissioner of Police Naziru Bello Kankarofi has promise to partner with Members of the State Chapter of Institute of Safety Professional of Nigeria, to enable them succeed in their assignment.

Kankarofi stated this when officials of the Institute led by its chairman Elder Friday Sani Makama paid him a visit in his office in Lokoja.

The Commissioner of Police said the institute when supported will enable them to carry out their assignment effectively.

He commended the body for identifying with the police saying the collaboration will help in all ramifications for the safety of the people of the state.

The Commissioner of Police advised the body to operate within the context of the law for peace and unity of the state.

Earlier, the chairman of the Institute of Safety Professional of Nigeria Kogi state chapter, Elder Friday Sani Makama said the institute which was formed in nineteen eighty, was established this year in the State.

Elder Sani said the objective of the institute is safety of the people and the need to collaborate with Nigeria police for effective safer measure.

He commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for playing critical role in the establishment of the body, promising to leave above board.

The body used the visit to confer an award of fellowship on the Commissioner of Police.

The body also visited the office of the chairman Nigerian Bar Association Barrister Ismaila Adeku Abbas were the need for collaboration with Nigeria Bar Association was stressed.

Responding the chairman of the State chapter of Nigeria Bar Association, Ismaila Abbas emphasised the need for legal framework for the Institute, and commended them for the visitn assuring them of their support.
