According to Morka,r the exercise will be conducted across all wards nationwide, providing an opportunity for the APC to update and digitise its membership records ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.
He said existing members would be required to validate their membership, while new registrants would have the opportunity to formally join the party through the electronic registration platform.
The APC explained that the exercise is aimed at creating a more reliable and digitally accessible membership register, with the party expected to use accurate membership data to improve planning and management decisions.
The party also said the digital registration initiative would enhance internal democratic processes and reinforce its commitment to the use of technology and democratic innovation in Nigeria.
To participate in the exercise, registrants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
The APC consequently called on its stakeholders, supporters and members, both old and new, to participate actively in the exercise as the party prepares for the 2027 General Elections.
