The Best Performing Treasurer in Kogi State award has been conferred on the Treasurer of Dekina Local Government Area, Mr Patrick Sunny Ogohi Shuaibu.
The State Chairman of Ododo/PBAT Polling Unit Canverser, Mr Thompson Alfa during the award ceremony said Mr Patrick Sunny Ogohi Shuaibu was considered
after a thorough secret assessment carried out on him.
He said after the assessment of Mr Patrick Sunny Ogohi Shuaibu he scored over 85% in five different thematic areas in accounting administration, social integration, Community service and state wide fusion in human capital development.
Mr Alfa praised the Treasurer for living up to expectation in his choosen careers.
“You have shown that discipline, dedication and commitment is pivotal in any human endeavor. Which is why the Ododo/PBAT Polling Unit Canverser, took special interest in you. We are optimistic that this award will spur you to do more for the progress of the State” Mr Alfa noted.
Those who spoke at the ocassion eulogised the Treasurer and describe him as one of the pillars that has joined to drum support for the re-election of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Responding, the Treasurer of Dekina Local Government and recipient of the award, Mr. Patrick Sunny Ogohi Shuabu dedicated the Award to the Accountant General of Kogi State, Hajia Habibat Tijani Onumoko whom he noted gave him every necessary support to bring out the best in him.
“I remain eternally grateful to the State Accountant General for her support for identifying me to be in this position. I will continue to do my best to support the present administration of His Excellency Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to succeed ” Mr Shuaibu promised.
