YAHAYA BELLO HOMECOMING: FORMER APC CHAIRMAN HAILS MASSIVE TURNOUT

The former Kogi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Abdullahi Bello, has described the massive turnout at the homecoming of former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello in Kogi Central as a demonstration of the people’s continued support for the former governor.

Abdullahi Bello stated this while speaking with journalists during the homecoming rally in Kogi Central.

He said the large crowd that gathered to welcome the former governor reflected his strong connection with the people of the Central Senatorial District.

The former APC chairman said the event was an opportunity for the people of Ebiraland to demonstrate their appreciation for the former governor.

He described Kogi Central as a stronghold of the APC, saying the party remains deeply rooted in the area.

Abdullahi Bello expressed confidence in the ability of the party’s structure to mobilise support for Yahaya Bello’s senatorial ambition in the 2027 general elections.

He said the massive turnout was an indication of the former governor’s grassroots support and the confidence of his supporters in his political leadership.

Abdullahi Bello attributed the reception to what he described as Yahaya Bello’s achievements while in office, saying his administration earned the confidence of people across different segments of Kogi Central.

The former APC chairman also recalled the security challenges that affected parts of Kogi Central in previous years.

He said the situation had improved significantly, which he attributed to the administration of Yahaya Bello.

Abdullahi Bello said the improved security environment had enabled residents to participate more freely in social, economic and political activities.

He also commended the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for what he described as its peaceful disposition.

The former APC chairman said the prevailing atmosphere in the state remained conducive for residents to go about their lawful activities.

The homecoming attracted a large crowd of supporters and political associates, turning the event into a major gathering in Kogi Central.
