The Convener of the Peer-to-Peer Campaign for Tinubu/Shettima 2027, Hon. Umar Abutu Omar, has called for collective support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima in 2027.
Omar, who is also the National Coordinator of the National Movement for Good Leadership, said the President and his deputy deserve massive support to continue their developmental strides.
He noted that the present administration has laid a solid foundation for economic growth and prosperity, adding that it has recorded achievements in human capital and infrastructural development across various sectors.
According to him, there is no room for sentiments, as the administration has demonstrated genuine commitment to all-round growth and development.
“It is important to let Nigerians know that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken bold steps to right some wrongs in the general interest of the people. Although no administration is perfect, the President has taken practical steps to reposition the economy, particularly on fuel subsidy removal, whose long-term impact will be more beneficial. Supporting his re-election is essential for consolidation and continuity,” Omar said.
He appealed to Northerners to rally round the President in view of his commitment to national growth and transformation.
Omar, who hails from Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State, also urged the people of the state to remain resolute in their support for the All Progressives Congress, assuring that the state would benefit more from the administration.
