Gov. Ododo, An Impactful Leader, DG Radio Tells Ebira Avaibe Association

Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation will sustain its primary mandate of giving credible information to people of the State and beyond.

Ebira Avaibe Association is a group made up of technocrats, business men and women, retired civil servants, including immediate past Registrar of Federal University Lokoja, Usman Obansa.

Director General of Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation, Princess Nana-Hauwa Yusuff made this known when members of Ebira Avaibe Association led by its Chairman, Musa Akaaba paid her a visit in her office.

Ebira Avaibe Association is a non-partisan socio-cultural group which comprises of people from Kogi Central who resides between Gadumo and Old Poly Quarters areas of Lokoja.

Hajiya Nana-Hauwa who thanked the delegation for identifying with her on her appointment assured them of her commitment to propagate their activities through the radio.

She described Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as a transformative Leader who is people -centred considering his impact to lives and livelihood in the last one year, urging them to sustain their support for Governor Ododo to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

Earlier, Chairman of Ebira Avaibe Association, Musa Akaaba noted that the motive of the visit was to felicitate with the Director General on her appointment as the first female Director General of the Corporation after thirty three years.

According to him, the Association is in its infant stage, hence grappling with some challenges which impedes growth, calling on the Director General through the State Radio for assistance.

Akaaba said as part of measures to mark Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s one year in office as well as ensuring his success, the association has organized a special prayer session.
