The Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area, Mr Theophilus Daruwana Adama has commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for presenting official cars to ease the smooth running of his office.
Mr Adama in a statement in Lokoja felicitated with the Governor for the kind gesture describing the presentation of the cars as one of the best things to have happened to enhance the development of the area.
He said with the new vehicles, he can inspect projects and navigate the tough terrain of the Local Government effectively promising to sustain ongoing efforts to nip insecurity in the bud.
Mr Adama reassured Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of the unflinching support of the people of the area for the success of his administration promising to work for the re-election of the Governor for a second term in office.
Similarly, a youth leader in Odenyi of Bassa Local Government Area, Mr Timothy Akubo has praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for presenting official vehicles to the chairman of the Local Government, Mr Theophilus Daruwana Adama.
Mr Akubo in a statement in Lokoja described the gesture by the Governor as humane and an effort geared towards effective service delivery by the Chairman of the Local Government Area, Mr Adama.
He reassured the Chairman of the Local Government of his support and loyalty at all times and congratulated him on the presentation of the official vehicles.
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo had on Tuesday in Lokoja presented official vehicles to Chairmen of the twenty one Local Government in a ceremony at the Mohammadu Buhari Square in Lokoja.
