We laud your commitment to addressing fundamental issues affecting teachers and education in the state in order to strengthen the quality.
We salute your approval of the promotion of teachers and the implementation of 100% salary schedule which have enhanced the economic well-being of teachers in the state, coupled with the construction and rehabilitation of classrooms and office accommodations for teachers.
Your interventions in the basic education sector, ranging from proper and adequate funding, training and retraining of teachers, have also created the necessary conducive environment for teaching and learning thereby restoring the people’s confidence once again.
All these have enhanced the pupils and equipped them with the requisite skills to compete favourably with their counterparts all over the World. These have also impacted positively on enrollment, thereby reducing the number of out-of-school children. Education for the girl child is on the increase
These strides speak to your commitment and dedication to the overall quality of life of the Kogi child, helping them to be innovative, self-reliant and competitive.
