Commissioner for Special Duties, Sunday Faleke Urges Gov Ododo To Sustain Quest For  Youth Empowerment In Kogi

The Commissioner for Kogi State Ministry of Special Duties And Inter Governmental Affairs Mr Sunday Faleke has appealed to Governor Ahmad Usman Ododo  not to relent in his quest for Kogi Youth Empowerment Programmes.

Mr Sunday stated in a message when the Monitoring and evaluation team from the ministry visited the Nigeria Korea Friendship Institute to monitor the progress of the ongoing Ododo Youth Empowerment and Skill Acquisition Programme (OYESAP) in Lokoja.

Represented by the Staff Officer of the ministry, Mallam Jato Shaibu-Salawu
explained that the Youth Skills Acquisition Program launched by the governor was aimed at equiping young people with vocational skills, mentorship and funding to start their own businesses.

Mr Shaibu also appreciated the Commissioner for Special Duties And Inter Governmental Affairs Mr Sunday Faleke for his commitment to empowering young people and shaping a brighter future for the nation.

The Director of Works of the Nigeria Korea Friendship Institute Lokoja (NKIF) Mr Olumore Taiye said the institute has a global recognition and was ready to impact on their students the needed skills to meet the global standard.

He urged the students to rededicate their time to study to encourage government to do more for others and appreciated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for giving them sense of belonging.

Other members of the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Team include Ayinmode Lucy, Akindele Zainab and Solomon Ejigbo.
