Kogi State Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hajia Rebietu Okute, has expressed satisfaction with the successful distributions of first phase of palliatives to the less privileged in the society.

Hajia Rebietu stated this while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja.

The Commissioner emphasized the significance of the palliative program, noting that it’s quarterly implementation is to ensure continuous support for those in need.

She appreciated Governor Ahmed Ododo for his unwavering support to the welfare of the citizens.

According to her, the Governor is dedicated to the welfare of the people of Kogi State, adding that the support from the government was instrumental to the success of the initiatives.

Hajia Rebietu acknowledged the efforts of the Security Agencies in ensuring the smooth distribution of the palliatives, emphasizing the crucial role they played in the exercise.

She assured that those who have not benefited will be considered during the second phase of palliative distribution.
