Parents of Triplets In Kogi Appeal for Help In Offsetting Medical Bills

A couple, Mr. and Mrs. Oruma Mudi, from Ikpoba, Ife, Omala local Government Area have appealed for Government and corporate organizations’ support in offsetting the medical bills and raising their triplets.

Speaking with Our Reporter at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Lokoja, the couple said the triplets were born via Caesarean section, saying they are facing significant financial strain hence the appeal.

According them, the triplets, two boys, and a girl, were born on 29th November of last year and expressed joy on the arrival of the babies.

The couple said their joy knows no bounds to have welcomed the triplets but the medical bills and expenses associated with raising triplets have left them struggling to make ends meet.

Mr. Oruma Mudi Ahaba who is a father of six children called on Government to support his family to be able to cater for the triplets.

Mrs. Aishat Mudi who underwent a Caesarean section due to complications during pregnancy thanked God for safe delivery,

She said the financial burden is overwhelming and appealed for assistance, not just for the medical bills, but also for the care of the triplets.

Some of the friends, family members and well-wishers also Called on the government and people of goodwill to provide assistance to the parents to enable them cope with the financial demands of the triplets.
