There was massive Protest in Obajana, Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State on Monday following the gruesome murder of two persons by Bandits on Sunday night.
Yet to be confirmed report says the bandit abducted a woman after killing the men suspected to be vigilante men at Oyo-Iwa, a neighbouring Community with Obajana.
The development prompted irate youths to take to the streets of Obajana blocking entries and exits to the Community.
President of Obajana Youth Association, Comrade Idowu Owolabi said the protest was to register their grievances with the senseless killings and abduction in the Community.
Comrade Owolabi urged Government, Security Agencies and management of Dangote Cement to come to their rescue.
When contacted, the State Police Public Relations Officer, William Ayah confirmed the protest, saying an official statement on the matter will be made public soon.
