The Vice Chancellor, Kogi State University Kabba, Professor Kehinde Eniola says the institution will soon recruit Staff to strengthen the vision of the school.
Professor Eniola made this known on Monday during this week’s edition of State of Kogi, a Radio Kogi Audience Participatory Programme.
Kogi State University Kabba currently runs twenty four academic programmes with over two hundred Staff strength and need more competent hands to actualize the vision and mission of the University.
The Vice Chancellor of the University noted that any moment from now, advertisement will be made to fill different vacancies in the Institution.
He praised the vision of former Governor Yahaya Bello in establishing the University which according to him has witnessed massive infrastructural development.
According to him, all ongoing projects inherited from the Kogi State College of Education Technical, have been completed with projects for the construction of male and female hostels, Senate Building as well as Science Complex currently ongoing.
Professor Eniola commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for sustaining the vision of his Predecessor with the investment of billions of Naira in the University.
He maintained that e-learning has been introduced to put to rest, issues of buying of handouts.
The Vice Chancellor said the university is partnering with other Universities in the State towards achieving the aims and objectives of establishing the University.
He said plans are on the way to also partner with the College of Agriculture Kabba towards introducing remedial courses.
A Caller, Glory Torere from Lokoja congratulated Professor Eniola on his appointment as pioneer Vice Chairman of the Institution and called on staff and Students to support him.
