Kogi State House Of Assembly Service Commission Congratulates Governor-Elect….. Says Victory Portends Progress For the State

Chairman, Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Andas Malik has described the victory of the Governor-Elect, Alhaji Usman Ododo and his Deputy, Joel Oyibo as a welcome development that will gurantee the progress and speedy growth of the State.

Alhaji Andas made the remark in Lokoja in a message of felicitation to the newly elected Governor and his Deputy.

The Chairman, while congratulating them on behalf of the Commission Members, Management and Staff, expressed belief that Alhaji Usman Ododo will perform creditably,

having served in the outgoing administration of Governor Yahaya Bello.

He noted that the Governor-elect had learnt the process of governance and is well equipped to handle the affairs of the State with all sense of commitment for accelerated growth of the State in view of the foundation laid by Governor Yahaya Bello.

He commended the electorate for their impressive turnout during the election and ensuring that peace prevailed even after the exercise.

He called on the people of the State, irrespective of party affliation, to rally round the incoming Governor, saying the continuous development of Kogi State requires collective input capable of guranteeing a brighter future which they could be proud of.

Alhaji Andas extolled the leadership qualities of Governor Yahaya Bello, describing him as an astute politician who believes in equity, fairness and unity of the State, these qualities he noted the Governor-Elect will imbibe to strengthen the course of the State.

The Chairman commended stakeholders in the election process, APC Members, Supporters and all who came out to exercise their franchise, saying the peaceful conduct of the election demonstrated the people’s desire to elect who governs them in the next four years.

He, on behalf of the Commission, thanked the entire people of Kogi State and prayed that the incoming administration will usher in greater benefits to all and sundry.
