Kogi Govt. Postpones Maiden Summit on Security in Hotels, Resort, Announces New Date

The Maiden Kogi Summit on Security in Hotels and Resort earlier scheduled for Tuesday 10th March 2025 next week has been postponed.

General Manager of Kogi State Hotels and Tourism Board, Prince Philip Orebiyi, in a statement expressed regrets over the inconveniences the postponement has caused the respective stakeholders.

According to him, the postponement was to ensure better planning and to carry relevant stakeholders across the State along ahead of the summit as the Board is yet to complete its statewide Inspection of hotels and tourism facilities.

The new for the summit is now 15th of April 2025 at Glass House, Government House Lokoja at 11 o’clock in the morning.

It urged Hoteliers operating in State to register their business with the Board or face necessary sanctions.
