Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing construction of the 8.6km Ogaminana-Obangede-Okaito road in Okehi Local Government Area
The Governor made this known while inspecting on going road project at Okehi and Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi Central.
Governor Ododo praised TEC Engineering handling Okaito road for their commitment to quality infrastructure, noting that the road project would enhance transportation and stimulate economic growth in the region.
He urged them to accelerate the work pace to achieve a higher completion rate and reduced the pains of the commuters.
Speaking the Contractor Engr. Ho Frank of TEC Engineering, expressed gratitude to the Kogi State Government for the the opportunity given the Company to execute the road project and promised to complete the work within the stipulated period.
Similarly, the Governor also Inspected drainages at Adavi Eba in Adavi Local Government Area, some township road under construction and rehabilitation at Ihima in Okehi Local Government with a view to boosting economic activities in the area .
While Speaking with the people of Ihima Governor Ododo urged them to see the construction and rehabilitation of the roads as a sign of more dividend of democracy to come.
He called on all appointees from the central to see their appointment as a call to service and charged them to always get in touch with the people at the grass root to know their pains and report back to the state capital for prompt response.
