Kogi First Lady Empowers Senior Citizens In Agassa Community, Okene LGA

As part of efforts to improve the lives of elderly citizens in the society, the First Lady of Kogi State, Hajia Sefinat Ahmed Usman Ododo has distributed monetary gifts and relief items to senior citizens at Ateba in Agassa community of Okene Local Government Area.

The Wife of the Governor who was represented by her Special Adviser on Domestic Affairs, Mrs. Aliu Nana Ohunene, stated that the initiative was aimed at supporting the most vulnerable individuals within the area.

She expressed gratitude to God for giving her the strength to carry out the initiative and thanked her husband, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for entrusting her with the opportunity to serve in the capacity.

The wife of the Governor said with the supports of her husband, she has been able to positively impact numerous lives and bring meaningful transformation to households.

She assured the people of Kogi State that similar empowerment programmes will be extended to their areas and called on the people to sustain their support for the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Several beneficiaries, in their remarks, expressed optimism that the support provided will significantly alleviate their hardships.

They commended the wife of the Governor for her kindness and dedication to improving the well-being of the elderly.
