The Senator Representing Kogi East in the red chamber Senator Isah Jibrin (Echocho), has completed the renovation of a maternal and child health centre in Dekina town, Dekina local government area of Kogi State.
The aim is to enhance healthcare services for mothers and children, thereby addressing issues related to inadequate child care facilities and resuce maternal mortality in the area.
The upgraded health centre equipped with modern medical facilities and solar powered energy is expected to provide improved medical services, contributing to better health outcomes for both mothers and children in Dekina and its surrounding communities.
Echocho assured constituents that similar efforts will be extended to other areas in Kogi East that have not yet benefited from such gesture.
The Senator, urged the constituents to exercise patience stressing his dedication to enhancing healthcare services throughout the senatorial district.
Since assumptions of office the Senator has facilitated the constructions and equipping of Hospital/Health Care Centers in Imane, Okete, Ojaji, Ajikpome and several other communities and towns across Kogi East and provision of drugs and medical equipment to numerous health Centers in his Constituency.
The Senator’s efforts in healthcare are complemented by his other developmental projects and programmes in the Kogi East.
