I Will Assist Communities In Kogi By Facilitating FG Projects-Mrs Abiodun Essiet,SSA To The President On Community Engagement

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement in charge of North Central zone, Mrs Abiodun Essiet has promised to ensure a holistic approach in assisting communities to enjoy Federal Government Projects in Kogi State.

Mrs Essiet stated this during the Launch of ‘Citizen Assembly’ in Lokoja.

She said the Programme is to further enlighten the participants to be able to speak out in the area of government attention on how to address them in various communities.

She acknowledged the resilience of the present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure a holistic approach to assist communities who have a better chance to benefits from his administration.
The Senior Special Assistant explained that her office has assisted many states in the country through her support in the areas of electricity, boreholes, schools, hospital among others.
In a remark, Member House of Representatives representing Ajaokuta Constituency, Alhaji Sani Egidi Abdulraheem urged the participants to drop their political sentiments about the government to enable it provide needed assistance.

The lawmaker praised the initiative of the Special Assistant to the President for taking the program to the grassroots and urged the people to reciprocate through positive contributions to enable them benefit more from the government.

In a remark, the State Director National Orientation Agency, NOA, Alhaji Abdulganiu Olurotimi Dare described the programme as a welcome development as these would touch the lives of ordinary Nigerians.

In their Goodwill messages, the traditional Rulers, Market women, youth among commended the Senior Special Assistant to the President for launching the Citizen Assembly in Kogi State.
The Citizen Assembly was launched to allow communities access federal government assistance on projects with participants drawn from the three Senatorial Districts including traditional rulers to discuss the area of assistance from the Federal government through office of the Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lokoja.
