Gov. Ododo Host World Bank, NPC Officials In Kogi, Woos Investors With Conducive Environment

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has promised  national and international investors, conducive environment for their investment in the state.

Governor Ododo also called on National and International investors to bring their investments to the state to tap the numerous mineral resources deposited in kogi state.

He made the call when the Task Team of World Bank and National Project Coordination of ACresal project paid him a courtesy visit in Lokoja.

Governor Ododo highlighted his administration’s investments in security and infrastructure development.

He emphasized the importance of unity among the people of the State, promising to stamp out crime and insecurity.

The World Bank’s Task Team Lead, Dr. Joy Iganya Agene, praised Governor Ododo’s commitment to the ACresal projects, citing Kogi State’s three active sites as an indication of his support.

The National Project Coordinator, Abdulhammed Umar, thanked the governor for his contributions and urged him to prioritize access to project sites and worker security.

With over 52 mineral deposits, Governor Ododo believes Kogi State is poised for economic growth and development.
