Gov. Ododo Flags-off Construction of Multi Million Dollars Industrial Park, Pharmaceutical Company In Kogi

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has flagged-off the construction of a multi million dollars Mary Ogwuche Industrial Park, and Johnpaul Pharmaceutical Limited cleaning products in Inele, Olamaboro Local Government Area.

Mary Ogwuche Industrial City Park, a landmark initiative spearheaded by Jamub Group of Companies, is a meticulously crafted development designed to be a catalyst sustainable economic growth and the creation of a vibrant, integrated community.

The park will feature cutting“edge manufacturing facilities and dedicated zones for minced agricultural and agro-allied industries, innovation and driving regional prosperity.

Speaking in a message at the ground breaking ceremony in Inele on Tuesday, Governor Ododo said his administration will continue to advance the course of Kogi State from being a Civil Servant State to an industrious State through Public Private Partnership.

Represented, by the Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Governor Ododo who noted that his administration recently flagged off a multi million Naira Gas Company in Ajaokuta, said the State will continue to support individuals who intends to bring about all the needed development for the people.

Governor Ododo maintained that his administration will continue to industrialized the State by attracting investors that will create meaningful employment for the teeming Youths.

While noting that his administration has invested massively on security, health, infrastructure, education and other critical sector in the State, Governor Ododo called on the People of Olamaboro and Kogi State in general to embrace the laudable project, which will create over six thousand jobs and increase the Internally Generated Revenue of the Local Government when completed.

“This company is for the entire State and Country in general. Bringing this company closer to the people is highly commendable. My administration in Kogi State will provide all the needed support to fast track the completion of this project which is expected to create thousands of employment for our Youths” he added.

Earlier, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jamub Group of Companies, Prince Jacob Aminu Momoh, said the industrial City park is a testament to the company’s unwavering belief in the potential of Nigeria and its people.

“This day marks not just the culmination of years of planning and hard work, but also the dawn of a new era of industrial growth, and opportunity for Kogi State, the region and our nation.

“This park is very dear to Jamub Group of Companies. It is a symbol of our commitment to building a commercially vibrant Kogi East.

According to him, the Mary Ogwuche Industrial City Park is a carefully planned and strategically located hub, designed to foster collaboration, attract investment, and drive sustainable economic development!

“This park is not just a collection of factories; it is a carefully curated ecosystem. It will accommodate state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, supporting diverse industries, from agriculture and agro-allied ventures to other key sectors.

“The project, and the park as a whole, are not just about profits and expansion. They are about people. They are about creating jobs, empowering communities, and building a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria. They are about leaving a legacy for future generations”.

In his goodwill message, the Attah Igala and Chairman Kogi State Council of Chiefs, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Mathew Opaluwa Oguche who was represented by the Ejeh of Olamaboro, His Royal Highness, Chief Simeon Ujah said the ground breaking ceremony will bring meaningful development to the community.

“This is a welcome development in Olamaboro Local Government. This will make the Sons and daughters of this community to be self reliant and stay away from crimes and criminalities”.

While thanking Kogi State Government for providing an enabling environment for business to strive, the Attah Igala called on the people of the area to take ownership for the project for the success of the company.
