Kogi State Governor Ahmed Ahmed Usman Ododo has been praised for living up to his campaign promises.
The State Auditor General for Local Government Alhaji Adabenege Siaka made this known at a Re union and Celebration in honor of Comrade Adabenege Siaka by Kogi West Comradeship Leadership Forum In Kabba.
The Local Government Secretariat of Kabba Bunu was agog by comrades and old students of Okoro Gbede High School as they celebrate one of their own Comrade Adabenege Siaka who graduated from the school in 1997 and to celebrate his appointment.
Okoro Gbede High School in Kabba was one of the oldest Secondary school that have produced notable and brilliant Nigerian leaders contributing positively to nation building.
Speaking at the occasion, the Auditor General for Local Government Alhaji Adabenege Siaka said the occasion is an opportunity for them to come together and strategise on how to support the state Government in moving the state to enviable height.
He commended the former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello for choosing a successor that can build and consolidate on his achievement and praised the state governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his developmental stride in all sectors of the state economy.
The host and Chairman Kabba Bunu Local Government Barrister Oluwadare Zachaeus said they are happy to celebrate the Auditor General based on his service to humanity and urged him to continue to do more in his service to humanity
Barrister Zachaeus also promised his unalloyed support to the administration of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The Principal of Okoro Gbede High School Mr Ibitoye Toba appreciated the Auditor General for not forgetting his foundation.
He mentioned some of the school challenges to include shortage of Teachers, High cost of transportation including lack of laboratory equipment and appealed for prompt response to enable the school regain it’s lost glory.

High point of the occasion was a lecture by the Public Relations Officer of Kogi State University Kabba Oshaloto Tade on “Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo the exceptional Servant Leader *setting the pace for a new Kogi”
The PRO in his lecture urged individuals to think of what they can do to compliment the good work of the State Governor.
