CHRISTMAS: CHIEF ONOJA TASKS CHRISTIANS ON INCREASED PRAYERS, LOVE AND TOLERANCE

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief  Edward Onoja has felicitated with Christians in the State, country, and world on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.

In a message  by his Chief Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel, urged Christians to use this special occasion which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity in line with His teachings which emphasizes tolerance, love, patience, kindness, care for the needy, and accommodation to every tribe and faith.

Chief Onoja urged Christians to use Christmas to pray to God to put an end to all the security, economic, and other pockets of challenges affecting the country.

He also thanked God almighty for life and the gift of health.

“The Yuletide season presents us another opportunity to love, share, and forgive. I urge us to utilize this auspicious period to pray for peace, unity, and prosperity in the nation whilst praying that God further provides succor to our challenges.

“May the blessings of the New Born King visit and grant fulfillment to your families, relationships, careers, businesses, and everyday pursuit.

“I wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year ahead,” he said.
