The chairman of Ankpa Local Government Engineer Adamu Mohammed Yahaya has charged the newly elected legislative members to be diligent and focused in the service to the nation and their communities to justify the confidence reposed on them.
He stated this while inaugurating the legislative arm of Ankpa Local Government Area at Ankpa
Engr Yahaya, who congratulated all the councillors from the 13 wards, appreciated the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for conducting credible Local Government elections in the state
The APC chairman of Ankpa Local Government Mallam Mohammed Jibril, in his remarks, called for faithfulness to service and synergy between the executive and the legislative arm for peace and progressive development
The legislators subsequently elected their principal officers and Miss Victoria Aladi Stephen emerged as the leader of the Legislative Council.
