The Kogi State Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo has said that the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is set to bring to an end every manner of aggressive attack on the rural communities
Comrade Oyibo who said this during a security consultation at his residence, Ejule, sympathised with the victims of the recent attack on Agojeju- Odo, in Omala Local Government Area
“The slowly movement of lion does not depict lack of strength, it is only looking for a prey to devour” the Deputy Governor warned.
He said the present administration has taken the security of lives and property as the number one priority in the State.
Elder Joel warned that nobody should dare to toy with the State Government in any way, noting that the Government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is favourable to the law abiding citizens in the State and will be harsh to those who are bent on causing havoc in the land.
The Deputy Governor called on all tittle holders to warn every member of their locality to desist from every criminal activity that is capable of landing them in trouble.
He re-emphasised the need for peaceful co-existence noting that the perpetrators of Agojeju Odo’s attack will not go unpublished.
The Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Local Government, Mohammed Lawal and heads of security agencies in the area attended the meeting.
