The Member Representing Omala State Constituency, in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Umar Yahaya has sent a message of appreciation to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for paying an official visit to areas recently attacked in Omala LGA.

Hon. Umar made the appreciation to the Governor shortly after his visit to the area. The Lawmaker thanked the Governor and his entourage while addressing Newsmen on behalf of the Local Government, critical Stakeholders and the entire people of the Local Government, described Governor Ododo as people friendly, commended him for visiting all the affected areas amidst daunting challenges.

Hon. Umar said the actions displayed by Governor Ododo through the visit has shown and has once again proven his love for the people of the area that in times of challenge and trials he has come to reassure them of their security.

Similarly, the Lawmaker thanked all those in the entourage of the Governor on the visit, including the Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo, the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, All the Commissioner’s, as led by Hon. Deedat Ozigi, Commissioner For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, All Special Advisers as led by Commander Jerry Omodara, Special Adviser on Security as well as all the State Service Chiefs and the Commissioner of Police for visiting Omala LGA.

The Lawmaker said the visit by Gov. Ododo and his entourage is a testament that the present administration does not play with the issues of security.

He thanked Gov. Ododo for restating his resolve and commitment to the people of Omala LGA, expressed satisfaction that his comment that what touches Omala touches him and the entire state has once again rekindled the hope of Omalites in the present administration.

Hon. Umar prayed God to grant the Governor the wisdom and understanding to continue to pilot the affairs of the State.
