The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Aliyu Umar Yusuf has congratulated the state Governor-elect, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo on his birthday.
This is contained in a press statement signed and made available to journalists in Lokoja by the Chief Press Secretary to the speaker, Yabagi Mohammed.
The statement described Alhaji Ododo as a man worthy of celebration in view of the energy he has brought into the state governance in the roles he has been given in the past by the government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
While further describing the celebrant as a man with a unique disposition, the speaker further expressed the belief that Kogi would witness improved infrastructural and all round development under the incoming government as a consolidation of the achievements of the current administration.
He prayed to Allah to grant the incoming Governor good health, long life, prosperity and the needed wisdom to take the state to greater heights.
