Chairman of Lokoja Local Government, Alhaji Mohammed Dan’asabe is dead.
Aged fifty-six, Alhaji Mohammed Dan’asabe died in the early hours of this morning in a brief illness at a private Hospital in Lokoja.
Meanwhile, the remains of the late Chairman has been laid to rest in Lokoja according to Islamic rites.
The Chief Imam of Lokoja, Alhaji Aminu Shaban who conducted the burial described life as transient.
The Chief Imam admonished Muslims to always live a life conscious of the hereafter as death can come at anytime.
Sympathisers thronged the resident of the late Chairman of Lokoja Local Government on hearing the news of his demise early this morning with disbelief.
Many friends, political associates, Local Government staff and relatives attended the burial at the Muslim cemetery in Lokoja.
