Fulani in the twenty-one Local Government Areas of Kogi State have been urged to give their unflinching support to the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Alhaji Usman Ododo in the forthcoming Governorship election in the state.
State leader of Fulani, Alhaji Dauda Abdullahi made the remark while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja.
Alhaji Dauda said the support for Usman Ododo will make him consolidate on the achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration.
He noted that the All Progressive Congress APC under Governor Yahaya Bello has helped Fulanis over the years by accomodating them, stressing that those who were pushed out from Nasarawa, West and Zamfara States were given special recognition of shelter to reside in kogi state.
Alhaji Dauda, who pledged overwhelming victory in Saturday’s Governorship election, said the victory for Ododo/Joel would give them sense of belonging in the state.
The Leader called on Fulanis to remain peaceful before, during and after the election for the progress of the State and the Federal Government.
