Kogi Civil Service Week Begins September 25

Activities to mark the 2026 Kogi State Civil Service Week will commence on Friday, September 25.

The Head of Service, Hajiya Falilat Yusuf Musa, made this known in Lokoja during a meeting with members of the Main Organising Committee for the event.

Hajiya Musa said adequate arrangements have been made for a successful celebration, which will run from September 25 to 30.

According to her, the week-long programme will begin with Juma’at prayers on Friday, September 25, followed by a visit to an orphanage on Saturday, September 26.

She said Christian prayers will hold on Sunday, September 27, while a road walk is slated for Monday, September 28.

The celebration will climax with an Award Night on Wednesday day, September 30

 

The Head of Service charged members of the Organising Committee to remain committed to their responsibilities for a hitch-free exercise.

She called on civil servants in the state to participate actively in the celebration, describing it as an opportunity to appreciate their contributions to the development of the state.

She also commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for giving civil servants a sense of belonging.
