The North Central Zone of the National Association of Nigerian Students has passed a vote of confidence in Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State and President Bola Tinubu, commending their leadership.
The Zone C Coordinator of NANS, Hussein Ebbo, announced this when he led the zonal leadership on a visit to the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Lokoja.
Ebbo said the two leaders had shown commitment to youth development in Kogi State and Nigeria, adding that this warranted the group’s support for their administration.
He commended Governor Ododo for the attention given to youths in the state, particularly in appointments within his government.
On behalf of the zone, Ebbo declared their support for Ododo and Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.
Responding, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Aridaojo Anyebe, described the administration of Governor Ododo and President Tinubu as a government of the youth and for the youth, and urged the group to remain steadfast in its support.
He said Ododo’s government was youth-friendly and deserved continued support to do more for young people in the state and the country.
The commissioner commended the group for the visit and assured them of the state government’s continued engagement with young people.
