The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Candidate for Okura State Assembly Constituency in Dekina Local Government, Mr Joseph Egene says he will be responsive and provide Purposeful legislation if given the mandate in the next general elections.
Mr. Egene stated this while speaking to journalists shortly after he emerged as candidate of the party during the Party’s primary election.
The ADC Candidate said he will make a difference in his tenure when given the opportunity, saying basic amenities will be provided for his people.
He disclosed that women and youths in his constituency will be empowered in their various areas of choice in order to guarantee equitable wealth distribution and enhance economic growth.
According to him, his main focus will be to create enabling environment for his people through improved welfare, especially provision of health care facilities, provision of electricity and water supply in his constituency if elected.
The House of Assembly hopeful appealed to the people of his constituency to support his political ambition for more dividends of democracy.
He expressed heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of the party for their support and believe in him to fly the party’s ticket and promised not to disappoint them.
Mr Egene said Okura Constituency will be great again if given the opportunity and assured of his loyalty and commitment towards ensuring the growth of the Constituency and the State at large.
