The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its timetable and schedule of activities ahead of the 2027 general elections, setting out key timelines for its internal processes leading to the emergence of party candidates.
In a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, on Monday in Abuja, said the schedule was signed by its National Organizing Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Arugun.
The timetable outlines critical activities, including the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms, screening of aspirants, the hearing of appeals, and the conduct of primary elections for various elective positions.
According to the party, the schedule is designed to provide a clear and structured framework for its preparations ahead of the polls.
The statement reaffirmed the party’s commitment to organising credible, transparent, and inclusive primary elections.
He said the process would not only ensure fairness for aspirants but also strengthen the party’s internal democracy as it positions itself for the 2027 general elections.
The party further assured its members, stakeholders, and Nigerians that the outlined activities would be implemented in line with its progressive ideals and commitment to democratic principles.
