Former member representing Kabba-Bunu Constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly, Mr. Nathaniel Ojo Taiwo has been conferred with a Diplomatic Eminence Ambassador Award in recognition of his commitment to peace and development.
Mr. Nathaniel Ojo Taiwo, a former member, Kogi State Pension Commission, one-term Executive Chairman of Kabba-Bunu Local Government and member of the State House of Assembly remains an household name, for leaving indelible and impactful legacies in the Local Government.
On Wednesday, families and friends gathered in Lokoja as the Leadership of International Institute of Chartered Peace, Conflict, Climate Change and Technology Strategy Management (IICPCCCTSM) an affiliate with with International Peace and Conflict Management University, Kenya conferred the award on him.
A member of the Governing Council of the Institute, Dr. David Onile said the Body conferred the Honour on the former Lawmaker after a review of his antecedents.

According to Dr. Onile, the former Lawmaker deserve the Award, saying the Institute is open to people of like minds and goodwill.
On his part, the State Coordinator of the Programme, Comrade John Oniwaiye described Mr. Nathaniel Ojo Taiwo as a Touch Bearer and Philanthropist per excellence, whose legacies have continued to stand the test of time.

Comrade Oniwaiye noted that as a well respected Leader in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, he has continued to impact lives positively.
The President of Bunu Development Association, Pastor Johnson Kolawole congratulated the former Local Government Chairman on the honour, urging him to be good Ambassador of Bunu Kingdom.
Responding, Mr. Nathaniel Ojo Taiwo, who was surprised by the Honour, said he is committed to the service of God and humanity.
Mr. Taiwo explained that the Award will spur him to do more and expressed appreciation to the Institute for finding him worthy of the honour.
He pledged his commitment to peace in Kabba-Bunu, Kogi State and the country at large.
