The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their Examination Notification Slips ahead of the commencement of the examination.
The Board disclosed that the examination is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
In a statement signed by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, candidates were advised to print their slips early in order to confirm their examination date, venue, and time, noting that the examination will be conducted over several days.
According to him, candidates can print their slips by visiting the Board’s official website and clicking on the “2026 UTME Slip Printing” link.
The Board also urged candidates to familiarize themselves with their examination centres ahead of time to avoid any inconvenience on the day of the examination.
He explained that each candidate has been assigned a specific schedule on the notification slip and is expected to arrive at the examination centre well before the stipulated time to allow for proper screening and accreditation before the commencement of the exam.
The JAMB spokesperson further warned that the 2026 UTME will feature enhanced security measures aimed at preventing examination malpractice.
JAMB cautioned candidates and centre owners against engaging in any form of misconduct, stressing that strict sanctions would be applied to offenders.
