The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
The Board disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday evening by its spokesman, Fabian Benjamin.
According to the examination body, a total of 224,597 candidates registered for the mock exercise, out of which 152,586 candidates successfully sat for the test conducted across 989 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.
JAMB explained that candidates who participated in the mock examination can check their results by sending “MOCKRESULT” via SMS to either 55019 or 66019, using the same phone number used during registration for the 2026 UTME.The Board also revealed that more than 20 CBT centres that experienced technical challenges during the exercise have been delisted due to technical inadequacies.
While congratulating candidates who took part in the mock examination, the Board warned them to be wary of fraudsters promising to manipulate or inflate examination scores.
“Candidates are strongly advised to beware of fraudulent individuals or groups, particularly on WhatsApp, claiming to facilitate score inflation. Such claims are false and criminal,” the statement said.
JAMB added that any candidate found engaging in such illegal activities would have their registration cancelled, noting that results may also be withheld or withdrawn where such infractions are discovered after the examination.
The Board further reminded candidates that the main UTME is scheduled to commence on April 16, 2026.
