The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade has been conferred with a Life Impact Award in recognition of her outstanding service as longest Secretary to Government in the country and service to humanity.
The Award was conferred on her at the African Women Conference held in Accra, Ghana.
According to the organisers, the Kogi SGS has through her Non Governmental Organization, Folashade Ayoade Initiative for Widows and Orphans given hope to the down trodden.
Responding, Mrs. Ayoade dedicated the Award to God, former Governor Yahaya Bello and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo who found her worthy to serve.
Mrs. Ayoade, who was delighted with the International recognition, said the honour will spur her to serve Kogi and Nigeria better, assuring of more service to God and humanity.
