Youths in the Central Senatorial District have declared their total support for the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo led administration.
The youths made the declaration in a town hall meetings in the the Central Senatorial District.
The Town Hall meeting was an initiative of the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe and appointees under his Ministry.
The Town Hall meeting was first of its kind in the history of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development aimed at bringing the youths together to discuss issues that will affect them positively.
Speaker after speaker described the town hall meeting as a welcome development, saying the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo wants them to be part of his Government which necessitated the move to organizing the meeting.
At Okene, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Empowerment Central, Mr.Mubarak Ibrahim Umar said the people of the Central Senatorial district are happy with the quality leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Mr Mubarak Ibrahim Umar called on the youths in the Central Senatorial district to continue to support the government and prayed for the growth and development of the state.
Also speaking at Okehi, the representative of the Local Government Chairman, Mr. Monday Amoka represented by his chief of staff, Mathew Omeiza emphasized the need to work collectively by carrying the Youths along in the scheme of things to ensure strong support for the Government.
Similarly at Adavi, the Council Leader of the Local Government, Hon. Yusuf Elizabeth Onozare said the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has done well especially on the appointment of women in the state saying with this the, the Governor deserved commendation.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth and women mobilization, Hon. Charity Omole enjoined the youths and women in the Area to continue to be supportive of the Government of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Hon. Charity Omole commended the state Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe for organizing the meeting, saying it was timely and restated her commitment and loyalty to the present administration.
Responding, the state Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe said the meeting was organized to bring the Youths together and discuss issues and programmes that will benefit them.
Hon Monday Anyebe said the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is Youth friendly noting that Youths in the state will continue to be given opportunity to continue to serve in the administration.
The Commissioner disclosed that a lot of programmes will be put in place for the benefit of the Youths, especially on Youth Empowerment, politics and programmes that would give them sense of belonging.
He thanked Youths in the Central Senatorial district for coming out enmasse for the Town Hall meeting, stressing that Government will look into their requests with a view to solving the challenges.
