The Chairman of All Progressives Congress Decamping Committee in Kogi State, Alhaji Taufiq Isah has felicitated with those who defected to the party at Isanlu on Saturday.
Alhaji Taufiq in a felicitation message, particularly commended Mr. Samuel Aro, Minority Leader of Kogi State House of Assembly, Idowu Ibikunle, Abdulganiyu Salaudeen, Engineer Kayode Adegbayo and Chief T.J. Faniyi for their bold step in joining the party.
He praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for providing quality leadership which has made many notable people of the state to defect to the All Progressives Congress.
Alhaji Taufiq commended former Governor Yahaya Bello for laying a solid foundation for the development of the state and for attending the defection ceremony.
The Committee chairman also commended the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Alhaji Aliyu Umar Yusuf, members of the state House of Assembly, Commissioners, the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade, APC stakeholders, political appointees, Local Government Chairmen among others for making the defection ceremony a successful event.
He also praised the National Working Committee members of the APC led by its National Chairman Ali Bukar Dalori for attending the ceremony and receiving the defectors.
While commending members of his committee for doing a good job, Alhaji Taufiq assured that more successes will be recorded whenever the defection exercise will come up in Kogi East and Kogi Central.
