The Vice Chancellor, Kogi State University Kabba, Professor Kehinde Eniola says Management of the institution is committed to ensuring that all ongoing works are carried out in line with the vision of the state government.
Professor Eniola stated this when he received the Commissioner of Education, Mr. Wemi Jones, who paid an unscheduled inspection visit to the Institution.
The Vice Chancellor, who conducted the Commissioner round on going projects such as main library complex, Senate building, 1,000-bed capacity male and female hostels, and the Faculty of Science and Computing complex, said an internal oversight mechanism has been put in place to ensure quality assurance.
Professor Eniola thanked Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his unwavering support to the growth of the University, assuring that the management and Staff will not disappoint him.
The Commissioner, Mr Wemi Jones expressed satisfaction with the speed and quality of work and commended the contractors for their efforts so far.
He urged them to sustain the current momentum and strictly adhere to the project specifications by the government, emphasizing that timely and quality delivery of the projects remained critical to the university’s development goals.
