As Christians across the globe commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Acting Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, Dr. Oluseyi Bamidele Folagbade, has extended warm Easter greetings to all Christian faithful.
In a statement issued to the press in Lokoja, Dr. Folagbade described Easter as a profound season of reflection on love and sacrifice, values exemplified by God’s gift of His only begotten Son, whose resurrection on the third day remains the cornerstone of Christian faith and salvation.
He urged all Kogites, particularly staff of the Kogi State Specialist Hospital, to embrace the spirit of Easter by demonstrating selflessness and love in the discharge of their duties. He emphasized that such values are crucial in achieving the hospital’s mandate of delivering quality and efficient healthcare services, in alignment with the vision of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Executive Governor of Kogi State.
The Acting CMD also called on Christians to use the occasion of Easter to pray fervently for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Kogi State, as well as for Governor Ododo and members of his administration, so they may continue to bring the dividends of democracy to the people.
Dr. Folagbade reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to the continued provision of excellent healthcare services and encouraged the public to adopt and maintain good health practices for overall well-being.
