Management and Staff of the office of the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State have showered encomiums on the Permanent Secretary Administration in the Office, Mr. Benjamin Ajodo as he bows out of service.
After spending twenty years in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Chief Benjamin Ajodo, who rose to the rank of a Permanent Secretary has retired.
In appreciation of his modest contributions to the Office and service to Kogi State, the Valedictory Speech was organised for management and Staff to celebrate a man that has mentored many in the Service.
Management Staff including the Permanent Secretary Cabinet and Special Services, Alhaji Azeez Momoh, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Administration office of the SGS, Mr. Ephraim Amurawaiye among others took turns to pay tribute to the retired Permanent Secretary.
The SGS, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade in her remarks said Chief Ajodo having spent silver jubilee of his years in the Office and is worth celebrating in view of his meritorious service.
Mrs. Ayoade, who described him as an asset to the SGS Office, urging other civil servants to emulate his expertise, humility and dedication to duty.
She noted that the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo will continue to do its best in providing a conducive atmosphere for Civil servants to do their job.
While wishing him sound health and protection in the years ahead, Mrs. Ayoade prayed God to reward Chief Ajodo.
Responding, the retired Permanent Secretary expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to complete his service year and the staff for the honour done him.
