The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rescheduled the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Mock UTME), moving the date from April 5 to April 10, 2025.
In a statement signed by Board spokesperson Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the adjustment was made to ensure that all necessary preparations are completed.
The board explained that the shift would allow for the incorporation of innovative measures and enhancements, aimed at making the examination one of the best in its history, while also accommodating an increased number of examination centers.
According to the statement JAMB confirmed that the main UTME is set to commence on April 25, 2025, advising candidates to remain vigilant for further announcements, including the release of the Mock Notification Slip, which will provide details on the assigned examination centers.
This strategic adjustment aligns with global best practices and recent research on examination methodologies, reinforcing JAMB’s commitment to continual improvement and excellence in the administration of the UTME.
