Chairman of Mopamuro Local Government Area, Ademola Bello Destiny has inaugurated the Executive branch of the council.
Speaking during the inauguration, the Chairman charged the new Supervisory Councilors to be committed to the development of the area.
Ademola noted that their appointments were based on merit, urging them justify the confidence reposed on them by the party leaders and the good people of Mopamuro.
He emphasized that his administration will not tolerate acts capable of slowing down his quest to transform the Local Government.
He called on the new Supervisory Councilors to cooperate and join hands with him to deliver the needed dividend of democracy to the people at the grassroots.
The Chairman thanked Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for payment of WASC/ SSCE fees to all SS3 students in the state and commended the Governor for the implementation of the new minimum wage to all categories of workers in the state.
One of the Supervisory Councilors, Akogun Idowu who spoke on behalf of his colleagues, appreciated the Chairman for the opportunity given them to serve the people of Mopamuro and assured him of total loyalty, support and cooperation at all times.
The new supervisory Councillors and other aides of the Chairman that were sworn in include: Babatunde Gideon-Supervisor for Works, Land and Housing; Alleh Sunday Joshua-Supervisor for Agriculture and Natural Resources; Earnest Bolarin-Mayowa-Supervisor for Education and Social Services.
Others are Akogun Promise Idowu-Supervisor for Health; Emmanuel Temitope-Supervisor for Budget, Research and Statistics; Israel Afolabi-Personal Assistant to the Chairman, Shina Adeniyi-Chief of Staff.
