Kogi State Chapter of the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN) is to carry out free medical outreach in Lokoja on Saturday.
The programme is part of activities to commemorate the Twenty Twenty-Four World Pharmacists Day which begins Wednesday with the theme “Pharmacists: Meeting Global Health Needs”.
A statement by the State Chairperson, Pharmacist Caroline Omachona and Secretary, Pharmacist Nwaeze Francis noted that the free medical outreach will hold at the Post Flood Housing Estate, Lokoja, behind old Poly quarters beginning at ten O’clock in the morning.
According to the statement, the medical team will carry out health education, free preliminary medical screening and medication.
The Association reiterated its determination to provide quality pharmaceutical services for the benefit of the people of Kogi State.
It called for the support of the people, particularly residents of Wada Estate and environs towards the attainment of set objectives.
