Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has directed immediate restoration of electricity to Abejukolo in Omala Local Government Area.
Governor Usman Ododo made this known when he paid homage to the Onu Ife and Chairman Omala Local Government Traditional council in Abejukolo.
Governor Ododo promised to set up committee for the immediate restoration of electricity to reduce the sufferings of the people who have been in back out for eleven years.
He noted that for any Community to develop and be save from any criminality there must be light.
The Governor appealed to traditional rulers not to relent in giving useful information to the security agents to help curb crimes.
Earlier, the Onu Ife and Chairman Omala Local Government Traditional council His Royal Highness Boniface Musa said the Governor’s visit has brought relief to the people of Omala and appreciated the governor for the restoration of peace to Bagana and Odo district through the deployment of military personnel.
He thanked the governor for the award on the rehabilitation of Abejukolo township road and also the lifting of suspension order on him.
Abejukolo Headquarters of Omala Local Government Area has been in total black out since two thousand and thirteen due to some disagreement between Abuja Electricity Regulatory Commission and it’s Jos counterpart.
