Caretaker Chairman of Ofu Local Government Area, Hassan Atawodi has called on members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the area to forget their differences and unite for the progress of the party.
Atawodi who made the call in his Office at Ugwolawo while receiving former ward Chairmen and Secretaries of APC in Ofu Local Government Area, said unity and loyalty remains the core values of any political movement.
The Caretaker Chairman charged the party faithfuls in the area to shun politics of bitterness, appealing to them to support his administration to enable him succeed.
Earlier, former Chairman of Ochadamu Ward and spokes person of the group, Mallam Sanusi Ibrahim, said they were in the Chairman’s office to express their joy over his appointment.
Mallam Sanusi called on members of APC in the area to support the administration of Hassan Atawodi to enable him move the party forward.
In a remark, former Chairman of Aloji Ward, Adaidu Usman, expressed optimism in the progress of APC in the area under the leadership of Hassan Atawodi.
In a remark, Secretary to Ofu Local Government Council, Ahmed Labaran, urged the group to sustain their commitment and loyalty to the party.
