“With a profound sense of fraternity and solidarity, I stand before you today in the beautiful city of Accra to celebrate the official launch of ECOWAS’s Golden Jubilee,” Tinubu said, emphasizing the importance of regional unity in addressing common challenges.

The Nigerian leader commended the staff of the ECOWAS Commission for their unwavering dedication and professionalism. “Their commitment and collaborative spirit have been instrumental in making this celebration a resounding success,” he noted.

President Tinubu also expressed gratitude to Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama for hosting the event and for his leadership in fostering democratic governance and regional solidarity. “Under your stewardship, Ghana remains a beacon of democratic governance, economic progress, and regional unity,” he remarked.

Reaffirming Nigeria’s support for the ECOWAS vision, Tinubu declared, “We shall not relent in our commitment to a united, peaceful, purposeful, and prosperous West Africa.”
