Three athletes from Kogi State have advanced to the quarterfinals in the boys’ singles table tennis event at the ongoing National Youth Games in Asaba.
The players are Samson Joshua, Joseph Marvellous, and Joseph Victor.
Coach Friday Abah praised the team’s performance, noting that they have not lost any match since the start of the competition.
He expressed confidence that the athletes will win more medals for Kogi State.
With this victory, Team Kogi now stands a strong chance of securing medals in table tennis at the Games.
