Theophillus Daruwana Adama Declares Intention To Contest Bassa LGA Chairmanship, Large Crowd Receives Him At Ikende

Chairmanship Aspirant of the All progressive Congress for Bassa Local Government, Mr Theophilus Daruwana Adama says he will harness the mineral resources of Bassa Local Government Area to boost the economy of the Area if given the mandate.

Mr Theophilus Daruwana Adama made the promise while declaring his intention  to the people of his ward at Ikende to contest the Chairmanship of Bassa Local Government Area in the forthcoming Local Government Election in the state.

He said the Area is blessed with lots of mineral resources such as Salt, and Agriculture which he noted is capable of turning around the economies fortune of the area.

The Chairmanship Aspirants who was the Caretaker Transition Committee Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area Commended the people of Ikende Ward for the warm reception given his entourage and Promised to remain good ambassador of the ward.

He Commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello for giving him the opportunity to serve as Caretaker Transition Committee Chairman and pledge the support of the people of the area to the present Administration.

The Chairmanship Aspirants Commended the state government for the ongoing construction of Oguma Sheria Bridge, Oguma township Road and appealed to the State Government to construct Kpanche, Ikende Road to improve transportation in the Area.

Responding,Elder Daniel Gwatana on behalf of the people of Ikende Ward assured the aspirant Mr Theophilus Daruwana Adama of the overwhelming support of the people and Commended him for his achievements in the Area in less than one year as Caretaker Transition Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area.

A stakeholders of All Progressive Congress in the area, Elder Aaron Ali described Mr Theophilus Daruwana Adama as a detribalised leader  and called on the sons and daughters of the area to support him to ensure his success in the forthcoming Local Government Election.
